Overview

As the name suggests, The Stack is a space for other projects that, although not as prominent as the main ones, have shaped the professional I am today. Some of them hold a special place for me and have helped me develop the skills and mindset I rely on every day.

Project

WiZink

I collaborated with WiZink, a leading digital bank in Spain and Portugal. I led the migration of the design system from Sketch to Figma, enabling real-time collaboration and improving workflows. I designed and tested flexible components, including Portuguese variants, to ensure visual and language consistency. This project boosted my passion for learning languages, encouraged me to explore new tools, and taught me to face challenges with curiosity and resilience.

A mockup photo shows a phone, dark in color, leaning precariously over the corner of a light gray concrete pedestal, against a gray to blue gradient background. The phone's screen displays a minimalist user interface with a light blue background and Portuguese text. At the top left of the screen, there is an oval badge with the word "PRONTO!" (READY!) in dark blue against a pink background and an asterisk. At the top right, the "WiZink" logo is visible. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Contest

Seminci – Zaragoza Film Festival

I took part in a poster design contest for Seminci. Although I didn’t win, I completed the project and gained satisfaction from contributing to an event I’m passionate about—films. This experience strengthened my perseverance and initiative, taught me to embrace constructive feedback, and fueled my creative confidence. Tackling a real-world challenge under a deadline also sharpened my time management and problem-solving skills.

The text, distributed vertically in large white letters, reads “66 SEMINCI SEMANA INTERNACIONAL”, with “CINE DE VALLADOLID” at the bottom left and the dates “23.10.2021” and “30.10.2021” at the bottom right. The sign is on a tree-lined sidewalk with white flowering trees, a bike path with bike racks and a wrought iron fence in the background. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

DoggyDoggy Cartoons

As a character modeller in stop-motion ‘Doggy Doggy Doggy Cartoons’ (+16M subs), I shaped clay figures and captured motion frame by frame. In collaboration with scriptwriters and directors, I turned story ideas into engaging images for children. This role strengthened my creativity, patience and problem-solving skills, teaching me to iterate quickly, communicate clearly across disciplines and keep user needs at the forefront - qualities I now apply to creating intuitive digital experiences.

EXPERIMENTS

Creative Spark in a Prompt

I use image generation tools (Midjourney and others) to write precise prompts and refine the chosen result, bringing my personal style to each creation. This process strengthened my decision-making skills, attention to detail and visual communication, encouraging continuous learning and patience and pushing me to explore new tools.

Creativity

Everywhere

I look for trends and diverse contexts to inspire me and generate fresh ideas that enrich each project.

Patience

No hurry

I take time to examine details thoroughly, ensuring consistent quality across all my work.

Tenacious

Never stop

I push forward through challenges, learn from mistakes, and refine solutions until goals are achieved.

Explorer

Without borders

I master new tools and languages (Midjourney, Accessibility, Chinese) to enrich every project undertaken.

Heartfelt opinion

Explore areas beyond design that might inspire new ideas in the future. Many of them aren’t necessarily related to UX/UI — and maybe I won’t need them right away — but I do believe that continuous learning is key to evolving and growing in directions you might never expect.
